Leipzig Festival is the host to “Am I a Wolf?”

“Am I a Wolf?” by Amir Houshang Moein is screened in 62nd Leipzig International Festival for Documentary and Animated Film

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Kanoon produced this animation in 2018. It is supposed to compete with other selected films in contest section of the festival.

Leipzig Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals in the world approved by the Oscar and Bafta Academy. It is considered one of the world's A festivals.

Leipzig International Festival for Documentary and Animated Film was founded in 1955. A separate section was dedicated to animations from the very beginning.

The eight-minute animation “Am I a Wolf?” is supposed to be displayed four times in Leipzig Festival.

310 films from 63 countries are screened this year. 3000 films are reviewed; at the end, 161 films are selected for the contest section.

According to the head of the festival, the selection group try to select films with various themes and high quality for the audience who travel to Germany from various parts of the world.

62nd Leipzig International Festival for Documentary and Animated Films is held from Oct 28 to Nov 3, 2019 in Germany.
