Online Competition for “Am I a Wolf?” in Portugal International Animation Festival

“Am I a Wolf?” directed by Amir Houshang Moein is going to compete online with other short animations from other countries in 20th International Animation Festival, Monstra, Portugal.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, due to the outbreak of Corona virus, the 20th round of Monstra Animation Festival is held online from May 25th to 31st, 2020 in Portugal.

Animations that made it to the festival are going to compete with each other in five sections: feature films, short films, student short films, super short animations, and competitive produced films.

Animations in the “short animations” are competing each other in five separate sections.

 “Am I a Wolf?”, last animation by Amir Houshang Moein, produced by Kanoon, after attending many international festivals is going to participate in Monstra. It will compete with short animations from Estonia, Japan, Poland, Austria, Brazil, Belgium, France, Germany and Portugal.

The eight-minute digital animation that pictures the story of the wolf and the goats at school is a puppet show. The goat mother missing her kids and the furious wolf confront each other and as usual, the wolf is the loser.

According to the festival organizers, after 20 years, Monstra could change into an outstanding international one. They are going to celebrate the 20th year of this festival with showing the best animations to their audience all over the world and in their homes.
