The award for the best animation went to “Golden Topknot"

Golden Butterfly for the best short animation went to “Golden Topknot” directed by Mahin Javaherian.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this animation intends to strengthen children relations with their peers by using games and singing poetry. This animation is specific in being childish and using simple and comprehensible symbols for pre-school children.

 “Golden Topknot” by Mahin Javaherian and “The Dog that was Sick” by Parvin Tajvid had reached the National Section of Esfahan Film Festival.

 “Golden Topknot” is Kanoon latest film.

There was a ceremony to felicitate Mahin Javaherian, the experienced artist with a background in child and adolescent area.

 “Ocean Behind Window” directed by Babak Nabizadeh and produced by Seid Jalal Chavoushian received Golden Butterfly. The main UNICEF award was given to Babak Nabizadeh for “Ocean Behind Window” and honorary diploma to Mohammad Azadi for acting in this film.

Hossein Rabbani Gharib, Kanoon production assistant, attended the ending ceremony of Esfahan Film Festival on August 26th.
