“Long Neck Kookoo” in Kanoon Theater Center

The play called “Long Neck Kookoo” directed by Mehdi Moghimi Esfandabadi and Mohsen Safari is performed at Kanoon Center for Producing Theater and Puppet Theater.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the theme of the play is “Autism”. It depicts two stories inside each other’s hearts.

Ramin Abdollahi is the composer for this play. The author of the play has consulted Yashar Khodaie for medical aspects and Amir Mashhadi Abbas for writing matters.

Omid Ansari is the stage designer. Mansoureh Karimi has designed the poster and the brochure. Malieh Moghimi Esfandabadi is director assistant. Mahbod Feizi is the designer for form of the movements. Maryam Radpour is the costume designer and costume maker. Hoda Roudbar has done the designing and making of the masks. Mohammad Reza Shamlou is the light designer.

“Long Neck KooKoo” is about a group of children who are going to perform a play but one of the members of their group is autistic. This is the source of constant problem until one of the children decides to omit him but the coach takes advantage of children abilities and starts a new adventure.

Abbas Shahcheraghi is the stage manager. Maliheh Moghimi Esfandabadi, Somayeh Salmani, Rasoul Ostovari, Hossein Ebrahimzadeh, Pouria Tajalli Tehrani, Mobin Hadadi, Hasti Karimian, Setayesh Sohbati, Mehrghan Kashi and Rojhina Amir Shahrestani are the actors.

This play is perfomed every day at 5 pm in Kanoon Center for Theater and Puppet Theater in Laleh Park.
