Two Feature Films and One Animation Entered Amsterdam Festival

Two Feature Films and One Animation produced by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults Entered “Cinekid”, 34th International Children and Youth Film Festival, the Netherlands.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “The 11th Step”, directed by Maryam Kashkoulinia, was selected for the Competition Section. “The Ocean Behind the Window” directed by Babak Nabizadeh and “Douch” directed by Amir Mashhadi Abbas was selected for Screening Club section for this round of Amsterdam Festival.

Based on this, 29 best short animations are selected for the international competition section of the festival. The jury that includes three professionals with a background in short films will award the Cinekid Lion Statuette to the winners.

Base on the news, about 400 children and TV films are displayed for a large number of professionals and those in the field of children cinema including producers, festival directors and distributors in the special section of the Cinekid International Film Festival, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The Screening Club Section is online and from Oct 10 to 16, 2020.

The main goal of the festival is to promote the quality of children media. That is why the festival is trying to introduce and review the best children films and Television productions with new and multimedia techniques.

The 34th Cinekid Film Festival, Television and New Media is the most important international event for children and youth aged 3 to 14. It is held online from Oct 7 to 23, 2020 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
