“Crab” Entered St. Louis International Film Festival

“Crab”, the animation directed by Shiva Sadegh Asadi, entered the section for experimental short films at 29th St. Louis International Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the eleven-minute animation “Crab” produced in 2019 by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults is experimenting its seventh international presence at St. Louis Festival.  This short film is about a shy and isolated boy who is interested in becoming a member of school theater group but in the end, the only role offered to him is the role of a crab…

Based on the news, this animation is displayed online in a 108 minutes program with 13 other films in the United States, Japan, China, France, Czech Republic, and Spain from November 5 to 22, 2020. The audience who have made an account in the festival site cat watch it online. 

Shiva Sadegh Asadi is an animation director who studied Graphics, BA, at Alzahra University, and Animation, MA, at Tehran University of Art. She has previously directed “The Kitten” and “Grandfather” for Kanoon. 

It is reminded that with Corona outbreak, the 29th St. Louis International Film Festival is held online from November 5 to 22, 2020 in Saint Louis Port, Missouri, United States of America.
