Winners of the International Children’s Painting Competition "Clean Hands" Announced

The winners of the International Children’s Painting Competition “Clean Hands, Save Lives” were introduced in cyberspace on November 9, 2020.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Bibi Tahereh Tahmasebi, the General Director for Women Affairs and Family and Ebrahim Zerehsaz, Kanoon General Director in Khorasan Razavi were attending the ceremony. Mohammad Reza Zomorodian video message was displayed.

Based on the news, more than 9000 pieces of painting from Iran and 27 countries arrived at International Children's Painting Competition of “Clean Hands, Save Lives”. Out of this number, 1700 paintings arrived at the final stage. Out of this number, 350 pieces in the national and international were selected: 100 paintings were international and 250 national.

Based on this, 100 paintings received gold medal, 70 received silver and bronze medals; considerable number of paintings received honorary diploma in two groups of national and international. Twenty of gold medalists, who got more votes, received bicycles.

Atena Safvati from Gilan, Zahra Khabiri from Khorasan Razavi, Amir Ali Taghavi from Fars, Roham Zahmatkesh from Tehran, Gohar Sadat Masbough from Khorasan Razavi, Marjan Mehrabian from Kerman, Asra Hassanzadeh from East Azerbaijan, Nasim Amini  from Isfahan, Parham Goudarzi from Kermanshah, Melika Farhadi from Isfahan, Melika Ali Mohammadi from Khorasan Razavi, Parmida Hedjazi from Kermanshah,  Shayan Jafari from Khorasan Razavi, Kimia Moghanlou from Zanjan, Tannaz Sadat Tabatabie from Fars,

Roham Jahani from Khuzestan, Zahra Dehghan from Yazd and Nazanin Zahra Zolfaghari each were presented a bicycle as a prize, Fatemeh Azarnoush and Ghazaleh Basavand from Khorasan Razavi, too. They received bicycles by drawing lots in this competition.

The jury’s members are: Seid Mehdi Mojtahed, Masoumeh Fazeli Moghaddas, Parvin Ghahramani Nejad, Sohrab Khajehnejad, Hajar Aalami, Alireza Pakdel, Maraym Khalesi, Mojgan Shamimi, Mohammad Hassan Aalami.

The jury announced that Kanoon has always tried to flourish children’s talent. Today, too, in line with the needs’ of the world, it has published a call for children.

The jury recommended the participants that: “Your thoughts play the most important role in painting. Try to find original and interesting ideas. Paint more or draw more to get more skilled working with your tools. If your ideas and skills are not enough for painting, it is your creativity displayed at the end so try to be creative.”

Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, with the cooperation of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and the Infection Control Center of the Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland, as partner of World Health Organization for Patients’ Immunity held the International Children’s Painting Competition of “Clean Hands, Save Lives”.
