The Ocean Behind the Window” Made Way to Dhaka International Film Festival

The feature film, “The Ocean Behind the Window”, directed by Babak Nabizadeh is experiencing its fifth international presence in the competitive section of Dhaka International Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the films that could enter this prestigious south Asia festival will compete in 8 sections.

Based on the news, 16 selected films are screened free of charge and for a large audience in the competitive section of children films from Iran, Argentina, Czech Republic, Poland, Palestine, India, Germany, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, and USA.

The protagonist of “The Ocean Behind the Window”, a Kanoon production in 2019, is a clever boy called Borhan who makes an interesting decision to introduce his family and his island. He gathers a group and takes them to the sights and tourist spots of the island. He performs music and plays for tourists. Life flourishes and more tourists come to the island.  

The 19th Dhaka International Film Festival will be held online and in-person since Jan 16 to 24th 2021 in Bangladesh.
