“The Ocean Behind the Window” Made way to Russia Film Festival

The feature film, “The Ocean Behind the Window”, directed by Babak Nabizadeh produced by Kanoon in 2019, made way to the 8th "Zero Plus" International Children's and Youth Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this work is supposed to compete with nine films from Russia, Germany, Austria, Norway, Switzerland, India, and Czech Republic in competition section of children and adolescents’ feature films, Zero Plus. 

Based on the news, “The Ocean Behind the Window” is Babak Nabizadeh's first feature film that has won the "Sepanta" award for the best film from the 13th Annual Iranian Film Festival-San Francisco.

Russia 8th "Zero Plus" International Children's and Youth Film Festival selects films with the goal of promoting watching high quality children and adolescents films with positive, creative and constructive outlook for the competition section. Also those films that spread historical common values such as friendship, family, creativity, and the nature. 

This year this festival is held at four international sections that includes 10 feature films, 20 short films, 26 short animations, and 14 short educational documentaries. The best film will receive awards. 

The 8th "Zero Plus" International Children's and Youth Film Festival, is held from September 27 to 3 October, 2021 in Tyumen, Russia.
