Eight Iranian Children Selected at Japan Drawing Contest

Members of Kanoon Cultural-Art Centers were selected at 21st JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this contest with the theme of “The Earth in 2030” was held in 2021. Out of 14,689 works from 80 countries, eight Iranian children succeeded in winning awards and honorary diplomas in this international event.

Based on the news, “Aileen Alizadeh” from Jahrom, Fars;“Maedeh Taheri” from Golpaygan, Isfahan, both 12, could win the first award of the international section of the contest.

Based on this, “Mehrsa Mohammad Hassani”, 9, from Kanoon in Roudsar, Gilan; “Nirvana Roustaei”, 10, from Ahvaz; “Niloufar Afshari”, 15, from Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan; “Elaheh Sotoudeh”, 10, from Kanoon, Jahrom in Fars Province received honorary diploma from Japan Drawing Contest “JQA”.

“Panisa Momtazian”, 7, from Kanoon in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province could obtain the Special Award by the jury in 21st JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest.  

Meanwhile, “Mohammad Mani Rabiee”, 11, from Tehran who was an independent participant managed to win the Special Award and Honorary Diploma from 21st JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest.

It should be reminded that Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults participated in  the 21st JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest by sending 66 pieces of paintings by its members from various Kanoon centers from all over Iran.
