Introducing Mojdeh Pakseresht from Iran in Encyclopedia of Arab Women Poets

Poet and Kanoon expert from Mazandaran was introduced at the Encyclopedia of Arab Women Poets titled “Al-Raedat” as Iran representative.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Al-Raedat” written by Fatemeh Bouharakeh, researcher and author from Morocco in which the works and biography of 1011 Arabic speaking poets in a period of seventy years is are published.

Accordingly, Mojeh Pakseresht’s name and works as the only Iranian poet with two collection of Arabic poet is set in this book.

Pakseresht has studied Masters in Arabic Language and Literature. She published her first poetry collection in Arabic titled “Love without Censor” in Beirut, Lebanon. She has another collection titled “Me, You, Violets” in Arabic.

She is the supervisor and evaluator of Kanoon performance in Mazandaran. As a poet, she has some collections titled: “I am Fine”, “Homesickness is an Excuse”, “A Cup of Poetry”, “Lovely Thursdays” and “My other Name: Setareh” (About Saham Khayam’s life first martyred girl in imposed war) in her records.
