Two Kanoon Books in Turkish Unveiled

The collection of “Kooti Kooti Tales”, written by Farhad Hassanzadeh, and “A Rose on the Rug”, written by Ebrahim Hassan Beigi, both in Turkish published by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon) were unveiled at Tehran Book Fair.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the copyright of publishing these books was assigned to Mevsimler Publication with the support of Grant Plan (the plan to support translating and publishing Iranian books in world markets) and with mediating of Kia Literal Agency in 2019.

This ceremony was held with attendance of the publishers, authors and illustrators. Except the collection of “Kooti Kooti Tales”, Kanoon unveiled “Rouzbeh Street”, “Well-Done my Dear Son”, “Behind the Window”, “White, White was Lonely”, “This Side, That Side”, “Mouse, Cat and The Rest of Friends”, “Branches in the Wind and Roots in the Soil”, “White Crow”, “The Black Crow Goes on a Trip”, “Daughter of Pomegranate”, and

“18+2 Woodpecker”.

The collection of “Kooti Kooti Tales” including “Watch out not to Catch Cold”, “Shake the World, Kooti, Kooti”, “Dinner Got Cold Kooti, Kooti” has been translated into Malay, English, and Arabic. It is now at hand for children in Turkey.

Before that, “Where is my Home?” written and illustrated by Reza Dalvand was published by this publication in Turkey.
