Presenting of "Harmonica" in the classic film’s competition section of the 2023 Venice Film Festival

After many years, "Harmonica" directed by Amir Naderi made way to the classic films section of the 80th Venice International Film Festival in 2023.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this 76-minute film "Harmonica" is one of the 1353 productions of Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, which was restored in 2023 by Roshana Studio and converted to 4k.

Accordingly, "One from the Heart" by Francis Ford Coppola, "The Exorcist" by William Friedkin, "King and Country" by Joseph Lozzi, "Days of Heaven" by Terrence Malick, "There Was a Father" by Yasajiro Ozu, "Shadows of Our Forgotten Ancestors" by Sergey Parajanov, "The Hunt" by Carlos Saura, "Andrei Rublev-Director's Cut" by Andrei Tarkovsky, "The Creatures" by Agnès Varda and "Bellissima" by Luchino Visconti is one of the other selected films of the classical section of Venice.

According to this news, "La La Land" director "Damien Chazelle" will head the jury of the main competition in Venice 2023.

The 80th Venice International Film Festival will be held in Italy from August 30 to September 9, 2023.
