The Award of the Best Animation from Tehran Short Film Festival Went to “Being Ten”

“Being Ten” directed by Fatemeh Jafari won the award of the best short animation from Iran Cinema competition section of the 40th Tehran Short Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the eighteen-minute animation “Being Ten” produced by Kanoon Cinema Affairs is made with stop-motion technique.

The film script of the animation is a joint work by Fatemeh Jafari and Mani Kashian. It has previously received “Golden Butterfly” from Isfahan 35th International Children and Youth Film Festival and the third award from the 11th International Animation Festival of Gold Queen Constantine, Serbia.

Mahin Javaherian, Babak Nekouiee, Hamed Jafari are the jury of animations for this round of Tehran International Short Film Festival.

The 40th round of Tehran International Short Film Festival was concluded with introducing the winners on 24 Oct 2023. The secretary of the festival was Mehdi Azarpendar.
