According to Kanoon Public Relations and International Affairs Office, Tamas Literary Agency assigned the Arabic copyright of “Dinner Got Cold, Koti Koti” to Kian Publisher from Syria to be published for Arab speaking audience.
This publisher has published 300 books so far and has participated in various book exhibitions; it is a member of Arab-Speaking Publishers Union.
The collection of “Koti Koti Stories” written by Hasanzadeh is the story of a centipede, a successful children and young adult literature work in Iran. Hoda Hadadi is the illustrator.
“Different Shoes”, “Torn Shoes”, “What Trousers!”, “Taste of Honey”, “Rain of Friendship” and “Dinner God Cold, Koti Koti” are titles of some stories of this collection.
During the past years, Kanoon books have been translated into various languages and published, namely Arabic.
Koti Koti was previously published in Malay and Chinese. Despite the acceptable content of Iranian books for children and adolescents, good writers and illustrators and the acceptance of non-Persian speaking audiences, such works have not yet fully utilized the capacity of Arab-speaking countries.
Since Tamas Agency has been effectively active in the Arab-speaking countries, Kanoon has assigned the rights to sell the copyright of its books to this agency in this geographic area.
