According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Energy and Movement”, “Building and Structures”, “Simple Machines”, “Materials”, are the titles of the four books in the collection of “Stone Age Science”.
This selection is written in the form of documentary-story. The main character of every book is a talented boy called “Leo” who knows everything and is learning and experiencing continuously. He teaches his cat “Palace” what he learns.
By employing Stone Age Science and creative plans, Leo teaches his cat certain points about materials, energy and movement, simple machines, buildings and structure in these books.
Mike Philips is the illustrator and Ali Khakbazan has translated the collection.
According to the news, every 36-page book of the collection has a glossary that gives the meaning of the new words.
The collection of “Stone Age Science” is suitable for +12 or Grade-Schoolers. It has been published three times at the same time and its number has reached 7,500 copies.
It should be noted that each of these books is available for 13,000 Tomans in Kanoon stores throughout the country and in the stores of cultural and artistic products.
