Kanoon Published “Energy and Movement”

“Energy and Movement” is a book from the collection of “Stone Age Science” that familiarizes children with concepts like wind force and air resistance and teaches them how to make kites and balloons.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Energy and Movement” is one volume from the four-volume collection of “Stone Age Science” that Kanoon has recently published for children above 12 or “School-Graders”.
Felicia Law and Gerry Bailey have written “Stone Age Science”. Mike Philips has illustrated it and Ali Khakbazan has translated the collection.

In this book, like the other three, “Leo” is the main character of the book who is a Stone Age scientist. He teaches his knowledge about various themes to his cat “Palace”.

The topics focused on in “Energy and Movement” are concepts like wind force and air resistance, battery, friction, windmills, kites and arch while children learn how to make a paper parachute and wind turbine and balloon.

Children come to know Michael Faraday through the book who has invented the first generator. At the end of the book, there is a glossary about the words such as magnets, aerodynamics, density and medieval.
