“Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves” made by Sadegh Javadi produced by Kanoon is nominated for Cartoon Club Award, Italy.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this animation will compete with eleven films from other countries to receive the award of 37th Cartoon Club International Festival. 

Based on the report, “Cartoon Club Award” is presented to short animations by professional directors and producers or studios that employ the latest techniques in animation industry to produce animations. 

In this art event, those films made way to student competition section to obtain Signor Rossi Award, films made by children to obtain Cartoon Jury Award, Special Films for Children to receive “Cartoon Kids Award” are going to compete. 

“Autumn Winds, Spring Winds, and Two Doves” is based on a book with the same title written by Ahmad Reza Ahmadi published by Kanoon.  

The 37th International Cartoon Club Festival is held from July 12th to 18th, 2021 in-person and virtually in Rimini, Italy. The final winner will be introduced on July 17. 

It is reminded that during the past two years, Kanoon has participated in this festival with four short films;“The Fisherman and Spring” directed by Seid Hassan Soltani, “Am I a Wolf?” directed by Amir Houshang Moein, “The Cycling Wind” made by Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi, and “Wish I had a Brother?” directed by Nahid Shamsdoust.
