“The Cycling Wind” at Court Métrange Festival International de Rennes Festival International du Court Métrange Insolite & Fantastioue, France

“The Cycling Wind” directed by Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi made way to the teen audience contest of 17th International Festival of Short Fantasy Films, Rennes.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “The Cycling Wind”with other films from Czech Republic, France, Germany, Serbia, Canada, and Russia suitable for age category below 7. It is supposed to be screened on September 27 and 28, 2021 at 13:30. 

Films made way to the teen audience contest at Renne Festival are screened simultaneously with holding the festival at Pathe Gaumont cinemas from Sept 27 to 1st Oct, 2021 for free for children and adolescents. 

Accordingly, in the programs that are intended for showing films in the three age groups of 7, 11 and 13 years, an opportunity for active participation of children and adolescents is provided with the guidance of teachers to attend discussion sessions.

Based on the news, films shown in the festival are translated into French as much as possible; otherwise, they are shown with French subtitles. 

“The Cycling Wind”, a short animation produced by Kanoon in 2019, has no dialog and is produced with two-dimension digital technique. 

This animation has participated in international festivals such as Cartoon Club, Sardinia, Corti a Ponta, Noe Magic and Virginia.

The 17th Court Métrange Festival International de Rennes Festival International du Court Métrange Insolite & Fantastioue (International Short Fantasy Films, Rennes), is supposed to be held from Sept 22 to Oct 3, 2021 in Rennes located on west of France.

It is reminded that this festival was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic.
