“Too Many Elephants in the House” is the story of a kid called Eric and all his elephants living together in a tiny house.

It is the story of a boy called Eric who has a house full of elephants. An elephant lives in the living room, one in the kitchen; one of the elephants is dwelling in the corridor and the other one has occupied the bathroom; there is even an elephant in the bedroom.

Gradually, the elephants occupy so much place that they make Eric’s mom angry. She tells Eric “Elephants must leave home.” But, Eric loves his elephants very much. He is in love with each and every one of his elephants. Therefore, he tries to find a smart solution to keep the elephants to himself.

The author has written the book for children above 7. It is abundant in illustrations that help kids understand the theme better.

Ursula Dubosarsky has written about 70 books. She is one of the most well-known authors writing for children in Australia. She has a rich profile with having nine national-literal out of which five are New South Wales Premier's Literary Award.
