Four Kanoon Theaters Received Awards from Hamedan International Children and Youth Theater Festival

“Ding, Ding, Dang”, a theater for toddlers and Pre-Schoolers; “A Mole’s Wishes”; “I-Tack” and “Reconciliation Soup (Ash)” by Kanoon won awards at various sections of Hamedan 27th International Children and Youth Theater Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the statuette of the festival, honorary diploma and the cash prize for female leading role in Toddler Section went to Fatemeh Khodabandehlou for acting in “Ding, Ding, Dang”.

Certificate of appreciation and cash prize for stage designing went to Hamed Zahmatkesh to stage designing “Ding, Ding, Dang”.

At Children section, the festival statuette, honorary diploma and cash prize went to Fatemeh Barmal for stage designing of “I-Tack”.

The certificate of appreciation and cash prize of puppeteering jointly went to “Yalda Yousefian” for “I-Tack” and Mina Maghamizadeh for “Dear Tiny”.

Based on this, the festival statuette, honorary diploma and the cash award of children section went to Khalegh Ostvari for performing in “A Mole’s Wishes”; certificate of appreciation and cash prize for light designing and stage designing went to “Reza Khazraie” and “Sina Yeylagh Beighi” for the same theater.

Certificate of appreciation and cash prize for male leading role jointly went to Bahman Dadashi for performing “Confused Explorer”; Saeed Heydari for performing in “Lullaby Thief”; Saeed Abak for performing at “A Mole’s Wishes” and certificate of appreciation and cash prize at theater section went to “Saeed Abak” for “A Mole’s Wishes”

In directing section, certificate of appreciation and the cash prize went to “Vahid Nafar” for directing “A Mole’s Wishes”.

In children section, “Reconciliation Ash” produced by Kanoon center in Khorasan won awards of directing, music, stage designing, the selected theater, female and male leading role.

Based on this, in the selected and directing section, the festival statuette, honorary diploma and the cash award went to “Mohammad Jahanpa”; in music section and stage designing these awards went separately to “Omid Sanjari Mousavi” and “Mehdi Sharifi”.

In the female leading role section, the certificate of appreciation and the cash prize jointly went to Ghazaleh Najimi for performing in “It is Said that…” and Mahnaz Asoudeh for performing in “Reconciliation Ash”. In leading male role, the award jointly went to Seid Mehrdad Kavousi for performing at “The Third Day of Summer” and “Farshad Ghasemi” for performing at “Reconciliation Ash”.

The closing ceremony of the 27th International Children and Youth Theater Festival was held at Bou Ali Sina Cultural-Art Center on June 27, 2022.
