According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this ceremony was held in Milad Tower with the presence of  people work in cinema and theater and cultural and artistic figures.

In this ceremony, “Smart Kid” directed by Behnoud Nekouie and Mohammad Javad Jannati and with Hamed Jafari as the producer received Simorgh for the best animation.

This animation is produced by Kanoon and Honar Pooya Group jointly.

After receiving the award, Hamed Jafari said, “I received this award as the representative of all the group working for this animation. It belongs to them. I more attention is paid to this animation as the one that makes way for the cinema and the box office.”

In the best film script, Babak Khajeh Pasha could win Simorgh for “Embracing the Tree”.

“In the Embrace of the Tree” was produced with the cooperation of Kanoon and Soureh Cinema Organization.

After receiving the award, Khajeh Pasha said, “I will set this Simorgh with honor on the shelf of my house; the Simorgh that Majid Majidi, Abbas Kiarostami, Bahram Beizaei, Reza Mirkarimi and Khosro Shakibaei have taken home. They have introduced the culture of the world to us; if you have any objections, cinema and theater are the best civil tools to extend your objections. Cinema must not be embargoed. Art cannot banned. I am at the service of Iranians, martyrs’ families especially Shahid Bakeri’s Family, the family that I love.”

Khajeh Pasha received the honorary diploma for the best first film (first director) for “In the Embrace of the Tree”.

The ending ceremony of the 41st Fajr Film Festival was held on Feb 11, 2023 in Milad Tower, Tehran.
