According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Playground” was screened in the competition section of the Tokyo Anime Awards Festival (TAAF) in Feb 2023. It is supposed to be displayed online for 28 days, from June 20 to August 31, 2023.

This animation is eight minutes and sixteen seconds produced by Kanoon by 2D digital technique.

“Playground” directed by Samaneh Asadi could previously win silver statuette, honorary diploma, and cash prize of the 52nd Roshd Film Festival.

In the summary of the animation we read: Illness and monotonous days of the hospital has made the little girl worn out and bored until her playmate arrives. Has she come to stay forever…?
