Screening five animations of Kanoon in Spain

Five Kanoon animations will be screened at La Casa Encendida, Spain

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “No Substitute” directed by Abdollah Alimorad, “The Eleventh Step” directed by Maryam Kashkoulinia, “The Cycling Wind” directed by Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi, “Butterfly” directed by Maryam Khalilzadeh, “Am I a Wolf?” directed by Amir Houshang Moein (for adolescents) are Kanoon’s animations being screened at this center. Based on this, these movies are supposed to be shown in fifty minutes for children above five and their families.

The titles selected for this fifty-minute program are a combination of rich Iranian tales and the magic of animation considering and reviewing the beauty of Iranian arts and its power and complications.

La Casa Encendida cultural-art center especially supports young artists. One of its activities is holding avant-garde art exhibitions, organizing courses and workshops about social, cultural and environmental matters, implementing cultural programs like performing arts, movies, exhibitions and other forms of contemporary creativity.

Based on this news, “Where is the Friend’s House?”, “And Life Goes on” by the late Abbas Kiarostami were shown in this center in 2007. the special program for screening Kanoon’s films is on April 16 and 17, 2024, Madrid, Spain.
