According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Shirin Sohani and Hossein Molayemi, the directors of this animation, will attend Sharjah Festival and participate in a meeting to answer questions.
“In the Shadow of the Cypress”, Kanoon short successful animation, has won 17 international awards, three of which are from festivals approved of by the Oscar.
During the first half of the present year, this Kanoon animation managed to attend more than forty prestigious international festival and obtain awards.

Sharjah International Children and Youth Film Festival was established in 2013 with the goal of increasing media knowledge (SIFF), rearing creation and displaying the best of film making by and about children and adolescents.
The 11th round of this festival is going to be held 6 to 12 Oct 2024 in Sharjah, Emirates.
