This festival is a place where the art and history of cinema intersect with the present, and its organizers aim to open the doors of dialogue through cinema, depicting valuable concepts of equality by selecting the titles of the world's top films.

“The Runner”, a luxurious children and adolescents’ movie, recently repaired and reconstructed, was produced by Kanoon in 1984 known as one of the best children’s performance in the history of cinema because of Majed Niroumand’s strong performance.
Amirou is the hero of “The Runner” who lives in the port. He is an adolescent who earns his living through polishing foreigners’ shoes, selling cold water, sorting garbage, collecting and selling empty bottles and the like. (The story takes place before the revolution.)
He dreams of going abroad, but gradually he discovers that the path to awareness passes through learning. To learn, he attends night courses and tries to learn the alphabet. At the end, and in a tough competition with his peers, he wins and achieves his goal.
Based on this news, the script of “The Runner” is written by Amir Naderi and Behrouz Gharibpour.
