According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “In the Arms of the Tree” directed by Babak Khajeh Pasha and with Mohammad Reza Mesbah/Sajad Nasrollahi Nasab as producers managed to obtain two awards from Moscow International Film Festival (Within the Family) held from 1st to 7th June 2025.
This feature film is a joint product by Kanoon and Soureh Cinema Organization that could obtain the award of the best film. Maral Baniadam received the award for the best actress from this festival.
“Within the Family” is one of the prestigious film festivals displaying family-centered and children-centered works bringing films together from all over the world to show family values, human relationships, and topics related to children through the eye of the Seventh Art.
In the recent round of this festival, the jury including experts and outstanding international cinematographers admired Maral Baniadam’s acting as one of the main strong points of “In the Arms of the Tree”.
“In the Arms of the Tree” has previously received many national and international awards.
“Within the Family” is a unique chance for cultural exchange of different countries to display film with themes about family and children.
