“In the Arms of the Tree” Is the Best Film in Canada Film Festival

“In the arms of the Tree” directed by Babak Khajehpasha won the award of the best film at The 6th Muslim International Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “In the Arms of the Tree”, a feature film produced by Mohammad Reza Mesbah and Sajad Nasrollahi Nasab managed to win the award of the best film from Muslim International Film Festival.
The sixth round of this festival was held from 10 to 13 Oct 2025 in Canada.
This festival is established in 2019. Its goal is to provide a chance for Muslim artists and audience in the international film industry. Since then, it hosts filmmakers and the interested in cinema from all over the world. It is held in Toronto to appreciate original and brave film narrations.

This film which is produced by Kanoon views family and social issues with a delicate and humane outlook.
This film has previously been noticed in many national and international film festival and has won many awards.
