Poster for the 27th International Storytelling Festival Published!

The poster for the 27th International Storytelling Festival held by Kanoon was published. Haleh Ghorbani was the illustrator of this poster.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Haleh Ghorbani, the illustrator of children and adolescents’ books who had done the designing of the 27th International Storytelling Festival said, “I tried to illustrate the poster of this round of the festival with an eye on the motto of the festival, “Discover the World Through Children’s Stories” and in way to have an eye on the world, kids and their imaginations.”
Haleh Ghorbani said, “Children are busy with playing, school and studying during the day, but they start dreaming at night, reading books, or they are told stories. That is why night has inspired me in designing the poster. I tried to create harmony among the elements I used in illustrating the poster.”
She acknowledged Isfahan as one of the elements of the poster and said, “Since the Storytelling Festival is held in Isfahan this year, I used “Pol-e- Khajou" and “Aali Ghapou” in the poster.
By saying that the three well-known stories of “The Little Prince”, “The Flying Carpet” and “The Flying Turtle” are mentioned in the poster of the festival, the illustrator added, “I used the stories that are attractive to the past kids while they are new to the present generation of kids.”
Haleh Ghorbani reckoned the galaxy and the Polo game as other elements of the poster of 27th Storytelling Festival and said, “A star is moved in the polo game, because I was intending to be in harmony with the world of the story. The galaxy is a symbol of the vastness of children’s imagination.
By saying that the designing of the poster took one week, Ghorbani said, “Fortunately, there was good cooperation between me and Kanoon that has ordered the poster. Everything went on well.”
By mentioning that she is an illustrator for children and adolescents’ books and that she has always enjoyed working for children, she said, “Working for children inspires me, while it is reminiscent of my childhood, it gives me special energy.”
Haleh Ghorbani has continuously illustrated for children and adolescents books since 2013. She also teaches children how to paint. She has illustrated 45 books so far.
The 27th International Storytelling Festival will be held in Isfahan in Feb 2026 with the motto of “Discover the World Through Children’s Stories”.
