Opening of Iran Film Week in Moscow with “Call Me Ziba”

Iran Film Week was opened with screening the feature movie “Call Me Ziba” produced by Kanoon in Moscow, Russia.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the feature film “Call Me Ziba” was screened during the cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the motto of “Dear Iran! The Ambassador of Minab Children”.  Rasoul Sadr  َAmeli was attending the screening of “Call Me Ziba” at Marshal Zhukof Movie Hall at Liberty Park in Moscow, who was applauded by those present. “Call Me Ziba” is based on a novel by Farhad Hassanzadeh, produced by Seyed Maziar Hashemzadeh, a joint work by Kanoon and Farabi Film Foundation.  “Call Me Ziba” was nominated at Fajr Film Festival to receive Cristal Simorgh for the best film, best directing, best film script, male and female leading role, shooting, and editing. Finally, it managed to win Cristal Simorgh for the best film from this festival.

The story of “Call Me Ziba” is about the relations of a father and daughter who find each other after years of being apart. On the girl's 16th birthday, they find an opportunity to be together again.  The Cultural Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia is being held from Sep 25 to Oct 6 , 2026 with the motto of “Dear Iran! The Ambassador of Minab Children!” The International Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults is attending this event with a collection of its cultural and artistic activities and its products.
