Spring Nominees for Kanoon Month and Year Book Award Introduced

Kanoon Secretariat of the first Month and Year Book Award Announced the Names of Spring Nominees for this Award.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the delegate for reviewing and selecting books of Spring Award has introduced 14 books in four sections as nominees: play, adolescent story, children book, and children poetry.

According to this in children poetry three titles, in children story five titles, in adolescent story three titles and in play, three titles are introduced as nominees for Spring Award.

 “Angel Dress” versed by Maryam Hashempour and illustrated by Maboubeh Kalaie published by Soroush Publication; “Little Pea, Don’t Go to the Pot” versed by Afsaaneh Shaban Nejad and illustrated by Mohadaseh Pourjafari published by Lepeto are nominees of Children Poetry Section.

The review delegate selected “Paint a Human Being” written by Fariba Kalhor and illustrated by Mitra Abdollahi published by Kanoon; “What a Nice Idea!” written and illustrated by Narjes Mohammadi published by Fatemi Publiscation; “Parrot” and “Waggish Turkey”, “Termite wood-cutting Workshop”, “Little Lost Flute”,  written by Mohammad Hassan Hosseini and illustrated by Roudabeh Khaef published by Mehrab Ghalaml; Mahtab books are nominated in Children Story Section,

In Adolescent Story Section “Crow” written by Mohammad Reza Aryanfard and illustrated by Amir Najafi published by Sureh Mehr Publication, “Wolf Story” written by William McCleery translated by Shahnaz Saali illustrated by Warren Chapel published by Kanoon, “The Secret of Nightingale Wood” by Lucy Strange translated by Neda Monaem published by Houpaa Publiscation are nominees to receive the award.

In “Play” section “The Secret of Kalat Fort and Prince of Dragon” (Two plays) by Atesa Shamlou published by Namayesh Publication, “Small Carrot, Big Carrot” by Hossein Fadaie Hossein and illustrated by Akram Esmaeeli and “Saturday Big Hunting” by Shahram Karami and illustrated by Mahtab Bakhshian published by Soroush Publication are nominated for the award.

In “Adolescent Poetry” Section no book was selected.

It should be mentioned that Spring Award Secretariat announces the names of winners in August 2020.
