 “Ocean Behind Window” Goes to Zlin International Film Festival

Feature film “Ocean Behind Window” goes to Panorama of 60th Zlin Children and Adolescents International Film Festival in Czech Republic.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Ocean Behind Window” directed by Babak Nabizadeh and produced by Seid Jalal Chavoushian, a Kanoon production, is experiencing its first international presence.

This film is supposed to be screened at hall No 3, Golden Apple Theater Hall, Zlin, one of the oldest film festivals for children and adolescents in thw world, on September 10, 2020.

 “Ocean Behind Window” has received the Golden Butterfly for the best adolescent movie, the main award of UNICEF and honorary diploma for the best actor from 32nd Esfahan International Children and Youth Film Festival.

Zlin Festival is an active member of Europe Children Film Association. An outstanding event that attracts cinematographers’ attention in the field of children and adolescents from all over the world.

Kanoon has participated in competition section of feature and short animation in 59th round of this festival, 2019.

In that festival, “Doch” directed by Amir Mashhadi Abbas in the competition section, “Knock Down” directed by Gholam Reza Ramezani in the Panorama; three short animations of “Am I a Wolf?” directed by Amir Houshang Moien, “The Fearful Night of Lomo” directed by Sareh Shafieepour, “The Fisherman and Spring” directed by Seif Hassan Soltani in competition section of 59th round of Zlin Festival were displayed.

60th Zlin International Children and Adolescents Film Festival is held from September 4 to 10, 2020 in Prague, Czech Republic.
