“The Old Man and The Tiger” by Hassan Dadshekar is Displayed

“The Old Man and The Tiger”, a theater-movie directed by Hassan Dadshekar produced in Kanoon Theater Center 2016 will be displayed through the plan of “Showing Shows” until November 5th,2020.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the “Showing Shows” plan has started online since August 5, 2020 and will continue until November 5, 2020.

Based on the news, the theater of “The Old Man and The Tiger” written by Ali Khakbazan is based on a book carrying the same title published by Kanoon is about wisdom and thought. Its theme is choosing between wisdom and feelings, spreading good will, avoiding violence and being faithful to covenant.

In this play, a tiger that always attacks the villagers and their cattle, one day is trapped and kept in a cage until a learned man sights him and frees him after tiger begs and sighs…

Based on this, Morteza Taheri is the director consultant and Masoumeh Arvaz is the director assistant. Saeed Atabak, Arash Sharifzadeh and Raheleh Shamsabadi are the actors.

Ramin Kohan is the composer; Tina Dadshekar and Arash Sharifzadeh have designed the stage, costumes, masks and puppets. Alireza Hosseinpour and Mohammad-Reza Shamlou have made the decoration; Mojdeh Zakariapour has made the masks and puppets.
