According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Tolimo is anstandardized test to determine the level of English language knowledge. The degree of this test is consideredfor admission in the universities of the country. Having high score in this test is important to pass the doctoral exam.

The head of the International Examinations of Iran Language Institute announced: “After the TOEFL IBT exam, the first Tolimo exam was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the International Examinations Center of Iran Language Institute in Shahrak Gharb, which is equipped with modern and up-to-date facilities for electronic exams in full compliance with health procedures.”

Hanieh Taghaddosi explained that  The Test of Language by the Iranian Measurement Organization,Tolimo,  is a test designed and held by National Organization of Educational Testing (NOET). From now on, it is supposed to hold this test every other week on Tuesdays at Iran Language Institute.
