According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, with the special conditions for this year Yalda, this movie-theater is screened at:  http://th.kpf.it Kanoon Center for Theater Production and Puppet Theater.

Yalda will be held differently due to the pandemic. Since children are away from family gatherings and parties on this night, as a Yalda gift, Kanoon Theater Center screens “Yalda Shepherd” written by Kamyar Mohebbi online and for two nights Dec 19 and 20, 2020.

The movie-theater of “Yalda Shepherd” is about a couple who are fishermen; with the river getting muddy, they spend days in poverty. On Yalda night, the fisherman’s wife meets a fairy on the bay of the river and wishes to turn everything to gold when she touches it. but, her first wish…
Maryam Pourrang, Maryam Zamanfar, Azadeh Kasaeian, Ghazaleh Marsousi, and Elham Vafaie are the actors and puppeteers in this play. Arash Sharifzadeh has done stage, puppet, poster, brochure designing and decoration. Mohammad Reza Shamlou has done the light designing.
