Three Kanoon Films Made Way to the Competition Section of 14th International Children’s Film Festival, Bangladesh

Two Kanoon animations and one feature film made way to the competition section of 14th International Children’s Film Festival, Bangladesh.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves” directed by Sadegh Javadi, and “The 11th Step” directed by Maryam Kashkoulinia, two Kanoon animations, made way to the international short film contest of the festival.

“Ocean Behind the Window” directed by Babak Nabizadeh is participating at the international feature films contest of this festival.

Based on the news these films are supposed to be screened on Feb 3rd, 2021 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Daka.

This year, 179 films from 37 countries are screened in Bangladesh film festival in two main sections of national and international and in two sub groups of competitive and non-competitive.

Every year, the International Children’s Film Festival, Bangladesh is held for one week. Selected feature, short, and educational films from all over the world are screened for Bengali children.

The festival, which has been running since 2008, is one of the biggest film events in Bangladesh and the only international film festival for children and adults in this country.

The 14th International Children’s Film Festival, Bangladesh is held in-person from Jan 31 to Feb 5th 2021 in Daka.
