According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Kanoon produced this animation in 2019. This is another international presence of “The 11th Step” in Providence Children’s Film Festival.
Kanoon was previously nominated for the award of the best animation and the best animation selected by the jury for “The Fisherman and Spring” in Providence Children’s Film Festival in 2020.
Providence Children’s Film Festival was founded in 2009. It is held for 10 days by screening children and adolescents movies from all over the world, film making workshops, and other free cultural activities with Q & A sessions that deepen the experience of watching a movie, cultivating and critical thinking skills throughout the festival every year. It is a chance for young filmmakers to share their entertainment and challenges they face during the process of creating.
Based on this, due to Corona pandemic, most festivals are either cancelled or held only in certain sections or virtually.
The 12th Providence Children’s Film Festival is held virtually to keep children and adolescents in this province safe from Feb 12 to 21, 2021, Rhode Island, US.
