According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, board of selection for this round of the festival start reviewing the works for this art event since Nov. 25, 2021.

Based on this news, 468 films at Iran Competition Section, 1048 films from 85 countries have participated in International Competition Section of 12th Tehran International Animation Festival. 

The following are the members of board of selection for 12th Tehran International Animation Festival: 

“Shahram Heydarian”, animation and special effects instructor, documentary filmmaker in the field of wildlife; producing series and instructing short animations 

“Hossein Molayemi” university teacher, director for short projects, series and teasers, official member of Iran and international Asifa and member of animation festivals jury

“Farhoosh Aabedi”, short animation director, attending international festival and receiving numerous awards, jury of Celebration House of Cinema and Cryptshow Festival, Spain 

“Amin Haghshenas”, director, art director, animator, character and storyboard designer, advertising animation teaser maker, instructor and facilitator of workshops in various fields 

“Mehdi Shiri”, researcher in the field of painting and animation borders and the organizer of numerous painting and video exhibitions 

“Shiva Momtahen”, attending international festivals, and receiving awards; jury at Nostalgia Film Festival, Milan, Italy 

“Sareh Shafiepour”, animation maker at Ray Avin Studio and winner of national and international festivals 

12th Tehran International Animation Festival is held 6 to 10 Feb, 2022 at Kanoon Center for Cultural Creations on Hejab Street in Tehran, Iran.
