According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affair, the topic of this event is “Animals and Environment” held with the cooperation of Cultural Center of André Malraux and Nancy International Festival. “Black or White” is displayed in this event.
With the theme of “Animals”, this cultural event called “Wonder Land” is for children. In addition to displaying short animations, it holds various programs such as workshops, graphic image exhibition of various types of fish, installing the statues of huge animals and provides a place for reading books for different age groups.
Along with their parents, children of any age category can have fun discoveries and fascinating cultural experiences.
“Black or White”, a twelve-minute animation, is the story of a butterfly who is noticed by a zebra because of her beauty on arriving at the dry and grey world next to the pond.
The butterfly takes on variant colors every moment. In the colorful dream of the butterfly’s wings, the zebra sets on an Odyssey-like voyage towards the galaxies and reaching the great butterfly.
So far, this animation has participated in many national and international film events namely the 42nd Elche Festival, Spain; 23rd SICAF International Animation Festival, Korea; Koln 30th Children Film Festival, Germany; Koln 6th Iranian Film Festival, Germany; and 23rd Nancy International Film Festival, France…
