According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, with the advent of Book and Book Reading Week, Kanoon has prepared various programs focusing on promoting reading books and emphasizing on the importance of books.

Based on this, three animations and three movie-theater shows adapted from Kanoon books will be displayed online. They will be uploaded on the site during the Book Week.

There will be specialized meetings in the field of books. In this regard, Kanoon referential libraries will dedicate the 88th meeting to the theme of “Today’s Children and Adolescents and Challenges of Reading Books”. 

Screening films at all Kanoon centers, supporting the campaign of introducing books with the theme of “What is the book in your hand?”, attending the mobile theater in deprived areas of Tehran, discount for books at Kanoon stores, promoting books and reading books in special form at Kanoon centers, active presence of mobile libraries in villages and cities, competition and book reading celebrations at Kanoon centers are among the programs scheduled for Book Week

The 30th Islamic Republic of Book Week is held with the theme of “We are the ones who Read” from Nov 12 to 18, 2022.
