“Being Ten” Won the Award of 11th international festival "Constantine's Gold Coin"

“Being Ten”, an animation by Fatemeh Jafari, won the third award of the 11th international festival “Constantine's Gold Coin”, Serbia.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Being Ten” is a short animation, eighteen minutes, made by stop motion technique. Fatemeh Jafari and Mani Kashian have jointly written the scenario of this animation.

Based on what the secretariat of “Constantine's Gold Coin” has announced, 808 films from all over the world are sent to this festival out of which 133 films have made way to the competition section.

Based on this, out of this number, 74 films at the adult competition section and 59 at the student competition section competed. At the end, “Being Ten” managed to win the third prize of the festival.

According to this news, “The Lovely Sky” directed by Amir Mehran and “Successor” directed by Abdollah Alimorad, two Kanoon animations, had participated at the adult competition section.

This round of “Constantine's Gold Coin” selected the participating works with the intention of promoting cultural creativity of domestic and foreign authors in the area of animation which were displayed in two sections of student and adult.

The 11th international festival “Constantine's Gold Coin” was held from 17 to 21 of July 2023 in Niece, Serbia.
