According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, with the introduction of Iranian feature films and short animations this round of Int'l Film Festival for Children and Youth (Isfahan) began its work. Three short animations and one feature film produced by Kanoon are participating in this round of the festival.
Based on this, out of 51 films participating at the competition section for feature films, 14 were selected. “In the Embrace of the Tree” directed by Babak Khajeh Pasha and with Mohammad Reza Mesbah as producer and Sajad Nasrollahi (Kanoon Production) have participated in this section.

In the summary of the film we read:
“The complicated crisis of Kimya and Farid’ life married for 12 years has distorted the beautiful world of their children; children who know nothing about life but simplicity and kindness.”
Out of 118 short animations participated at the competition section, 12 animations are introduced.
Out of 12 animations selected for the competition section, three are produced by Kanoon: “Successor” by Abdollah Alimorad; “Being Ten” by Fatemeh Jafari and “Gilgamesh” by Hossein Moradizadeh and produced by Kanoon.
The three animations could win many awards from national and international festivals.
The 35th Int'l Film Festival for Children and Youth (Isfahan)  is going to be held from 7 to 12 October 2023 with Majid Zeinolabedin as the director and with the contribution of Cinema Organization, Farabi Cinema Foundation and Isfahan municipality in Isfahan.
