“Being Ten” Made Way to Tehran International Short Film Festival

“Being Ten” directed by Fatemeh Jafari entered at the competition section of 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, 11 short animations are selected and introduced to participate at the competition section of 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival.

Mahin Javaherian, Babak Nekouiee, Hamed Jafari are the jury for this round of Tehran International Short Film Festival.

Being Ten” is about a boy living with his father in a faraway jungle. One day, the boy’s father traps a duck to end his son’s loneliness. The boy and the duck come to know each other gradually until unwanted events change the boy’s views towards the world surrounding him.

“Being Ten”, an eighteen-minute animation, is made with Stop-Motion technique and with Kanoon Cinematic Affairs as the producer.

With Mehdi Dabiri as the director, 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival is run from 19 to 24 Oct 2023.
