According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the eighteen-minute animation, “Being Ten”, produced by Kanoon is made with stop motion technique.
The films made way to the competition section of the festival were in two groups: national and international each of which have two parts of professional and student.
Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA is held by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University.
This festival is held with the goal of presenting the best of animation from all over the world to contribute to the development of cultural heritage of animation films, to contribute the creation of new films, providing a platform for international co-production and encouraging discussion and dialogue between professional animators, filmmakers and the Greek.
