According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “In the Shadow of Cypress” is supposed to be displayed for the audience above 18 in an eighty-three-minute collection with seven short animations from Portugal, Canada, France, Holland, Hungary, Slovakia, Belgium, and Spain on Feb 17 and 18, 2024, Catalonia.

 The twenty-minute animation, In the Shadow of Cypress, is Kanoon latest production.

 Animac Film Festival was established in 1996. It is run by Catalonia Council and in the past 28 years, it is one of the most recognized internationally cultural-art events in Spain.

 The organizers of the festival, which has been welcomed by the audience so far, are doing their best to improve, to attract new audience and those who love animation. 

Based on the news, the short animation, “The Cycling Wind” made by Nazanin Sobhani Sarbandi produced in 2019 by Kanoon, had participated at the competition section of short films for children over 3, 2024. 

Animac 28th International Animation Festival will be held in Catalonia, Spain, Feb 15 to 18, 2024.
