According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, as the Iranian audience welcomes “In the Arms of the Tree” directed by Babak Khajeh Pasha and produced by Sajad Nasrollahi, a joint product by Kanoon and Soureh Cinema Organization, “In the Arms of the Tree” travelled to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates as it continues to be screened internationally. 

 This feature film is supposed to be screened at the competition section of «11th Sharjah  International Film Festival for Children & Youth». 

This festival is the first festival for children and adolescents' films in the region. It plays a very important role in increasing children and adolescents’ media literacy and fostering their creativity by showing the best children and adolescents’ films. It also familiarizes them with the world culture and concepts like peace, tolerance, and realizing the lives of the people of the world, culture, history and religion of each nation. 

Simultaneous with the festival, there would be meetings for asking and answering questions, workshops about making films and displaying films made by children and teenagers that helps fostering them and persuades them to create films. 

This festival is going to be held 6 to 12 October 2024 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. 

International distribution of the film is on Soureh Cinema Organization.
