According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this round of competitions is the national selection stage of the FIRA 2025 World Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition which will be held in South Korea.
At the same time, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and Kanoon are going to hold professional and specialized workshops and scientific meetings focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for the interested of this domain.
With the aim of spreading and promoting science and skills in robotics, mechatronics and artificial intelligence, the National Committee of Robotics of Islamic Republic of Iran, The Robotics Society of Iran, and Ministry of Science, Research and Technology hold these competitions at national and international level every year.

Iran Free FIRA Open Cup competitions which hosts several groups from all over Iran in three age categories of up to 14, between 14 to 18 and above 18 are held in various scientific and professional leagues.
The 12th round of Iran FIRA Open Cup International Competitions is supposed to be held from 15 to 18 April 2025 at Kanoon Center for Cultural-Art Creations located on Hejab Street, Tehran.
