According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, she will judge the short animations of this round of the festival next to jurors like Andrew Ruhemann, the British filmmaker and Oscar winner; Chris Sanders, American animator, actor, scriptwriter, director and Oscar nominee.
Shiva Sadegh Asadi has directed short animations like “The Kitten”, “Grandfather”, and “The Crab”.
“ Unpatterened Dress” is the latest directed by Shiva Sadegh Asadi and being produced by Kanoon.

Based on this, “Maned and Macho”, “Stain”, “Aquatic” are other works by Shiva Sadegh Asadi.
Her short animations which are shown in some prestigious film and animation festivals such as Annecy (France), Animafest (Zagreb), Hiroshima (Japan), DOK Leipzig (Germany), ...managed to obtain some awards.
Shiva Sadegh Asadi is a painter and an animation director who has received her master’s in directing animation from the Faculty of Cinema and Theater, Tehran Art University.
She focuses on the inners of human beings in her paintings and in her films. She addresses topics like dreams, dark imaginations, femininity, family and the like.
The 49th round of Annecy Animation Festival is going to be held in France from 8 to 14 of June 2025.
