The scientific article by an Iranian adolescent was published in Vanderbilt University Journal, USA

The article by the fifteen-year-old Kanoon member from Hashtgerd Center, Alborz Province, was published in Vanderbilt University Journal.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Mohsen Rashidi participated in this event with the following article, “Targeting Habitable, Terrestrial Exoplanets: An Empirical Study of Host Star Characteristics and Earth Similarity Index”. Vanderbilt University accepted this article in March 2024, and it is published now.

Vanderbilt University is a research university established in 1873 in Nashville, Tennessee State, USA. It ranks the 46th in US university rankings.
Meanwhile, many figures and outstanding personalities from all over the world have graduated from this university in various fields such as science, art, literature, and politics.
Based on this report, Mohsen Rashidi, a Kanoon member, whose article is published in the university journal, explained that, “My article is about how much we can hope to discover a habitable, Earth-like planet around a star simply by knowing its characteristics.”
I have studied the data of previously discovered systems and through them, I have determined those types of starts with higher probability of having such planets round them.
He added that the result of this article can lead the future research about the Earth-like planets on such types of stars, which may have better outcome.
