According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the 54th round of International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People was held with the theme of “Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of you.” was held.
More than More than 1.6 million students from 65 countries participated when finally the letter by this Iranian boy, which was translated to English for competing at the international level, was sent to the Universal Postal Union. This letter was recognized “Special Mentions” next to four other letters from Brazil, the People's Republic of China, Georgia, and Malaysia.
This competition is held every year with the cooperation of Universal Postal Union, International Maritime Organization (IMO), UNESCO with the goal of promoting writing skills of the adolescents all over the world, contributing to the creation of written works, improving language skills through letter-writing, contributing to the continuity of international friendship as one of its main missions.
In 2025, a fifteen-year-old girl from Turkey managed to win the first prize of the competition. The second and the third rank was occupied by two adolescents from Vietnam and Burkina Faso.

Previously and in the level of national, 1500 children and adolescents had participated in this contest. The jury included representatives of National Post Company, a group of experts from Experts from the Literary and Artistic Creations Department of the Kanoon, Also, a number of writers and poets from Kanoon include: Maryam Eslami, Maryam Alaei, Maryam Kouchaki, Negin Sadrizadeh, Hossein Dehlavi, who selected three best members after careful review of the letters.

In the long run, in addition to Alireza Dastnaei, member of Kanoon No 11 in Isfahan was selected as the first one, two young Iranian girls, Sahar Molavi Vardanjani, member of Kanoon No 1 in Chaharmahal  and Bakhtiari Province; Fatemeh Sadat Abtahi Kheirabadi, a member of Center No. 8 of the Arak Center in Markazi Province, were introduced to the World Secretariat of this competition in Switzerland as the second and third place winners, respectively.
